Berlin to Potsdam (1 Day)

28km cycle from central Berlin through the Grünewald, to Wannsee and on to Potsdam visiting Schloss Cecilienhof and Sanssouci, returning to Berlin by train from Potsdam in the afternoon


Berlin to Dresden (5 Days)

Day 1

 From the Berlin Central Train Station to Königs Wusterhausen & on to Bestensee by train (1 hr) and then cycle 32 km via Münchehofe to overnight nearby at Märkisch Buchholz.

Accommodation:  Land Hotel, Märkisch Buchholz.

Day 2

Cycle 4 km to Halbe and then 34 km to Lückau for lunch. Then 17 km to in the village of Fürstlich Drehna in a former 13th-century palace set in a large park

Accommodation:  Schlosshotel Fürstlich Drehna

Day 3

Cycle 35 km to Lichterfeld-Schacksdorf and then 32 km to the village of Lindenau. Overnight there.

Accommodation:  A Family Run Pension.



Day 4

Cycle 32 km to the gorgeous Schloss Moritzburg-Radeburg for lunch and then another 10 km along the Elbe River and through the adjacent forest to the Dresden suburban tram terminus of Wilder Mann for the 6 km ride to central Dresden.

Accommodation:  Gewandhaus Hotel a historic boutique hotel.

Day 5

Free morning and then return to Berlin Hauptbahnhof by train or bus mid afternoon from the Dresden Hauptbahnhof

Day 1

 Meet up in Berlin, accommodation at the 3 star Sachsenhof Hotel, Viktoria Louise Platz.

Day 2

Cycle tour of Berlin with a late lunch Café am Neuen See in the Tiergarten.
Arrival dinner in Berlin at the Swabian Gasthaus Wiesenstein Restaurant,
Viktoria Louise Platz.

Day 3

Cycle 28 km from central Berlin through the Grünewald, past Wannsee to Potsdam, visiting Schloss Cecilienhof and Sanssouci, returning to Berlin by train from Potsdam HbHf.

Day 4

Day 6

Our biggest day. Cycle 22 km to Lichterfeld-Schacksdorf for lunch and then 35km to the village of Lindenau. Overnight there.

Accommodation:  A Family Run Pension.



Day 7

Cycle 36 km to the gorgeous Schloss Moritzburg-Radeburg for lunch and then 10 km along the Elbe River and through the adjacent forest to the Dresden suburban tram terminus of Wilder Mann for the 20 minute tram ride to the Pirnaischer Platz stop in central Dresden.

Accommodation:  Gewandhaus Hotel a historic boutique hotel.

Day 8

Return to Berlin Hauptbahnhof by train or bus mid afternoon from the Dresden Hauptbahnhof
